I never can stick with writing-related podcasts for some reason. I don't know if it's the same aversion that makes my "You can't tell me what to do!" instincts bristle every time I try to read books on the craft... All of my favorite podcasts are trivia-based. I want to learn everything! #KidLitChat

Oh, I miss being in a book club... but it's so hard to find one where everyone wants to read #KidLit every month. (The last one I was a part of kept trending toward Serious Adult Books and judging me every time I suggested a fabulous middle grade novel...) #KidLitChat

I am so grateful for the online opportunities as well! I love the way it makes workshops more accessible to so many folks. And I love it when I can connect online with friends who are halfway around the world! (But yes, nothing beats getting together in person over delicious food!) #KidLitChat
