The Outer Worlds 2 is like the first game, only much better (so far at least!) - there's more possible approaches to most quests and it feels kind of immersive sim-lite. It's also nice to see a big RPG like this one embrace 60 fps ❤️

Turns out that Europe's largest baklava manufacturer (New Bakery) is based in Donji Stupnik, Croatia and is run by two Londoners. And they make baklavas for M&S as well, so obviously I had to grab some as soon as I found out. The more you know...

Now that Silent Hill 2 is finally on Xbox, I finally get to see why everyone loves it. So far I'm finding it really good and quite creepy (I'm some 4-5 hrs into the game now)

This boxset is really cool. It's a 2021 set so it's missing Mickey 17 and Okja (the latter was released last year by Criterion I think), but other than that looks good to me!

My phone camera tends to mess up colours (Pixels are mostly great, but that's what the so-called "ultra HDR" setting does, the accuracy is just not there!), but thankfully Drew's trusty SLR doesn't. For some ten, fifteen minutes the sky was pretty much cotton candy pastel. What a view.

So I'm halfway through part 1 and I am finding it fine so far (I knew going in that it was going to be a contemplative kind of Groundhog Day, not the usual sci-fi fare), but I can't help but wonder - how the hell do you get SEVEN books out of this premise?

ANNIE: Last Hope is such a weird little game. Looks amazing and I love the voxel art style, but the weird-ass targeting system, nonsensical plot (zombie crabs 🫠), Google-translated English text... It's a lot to take in. But I can't stop playing. Also cost me less than a pint so no regrets.

The way Oklou out-grimes'd Grimes on Dance 2 is quite remarkable. Loved 'galore' and "choke enough', but wouldn't mind more of this kind of sound from her.

Only took me three years after buying it to finally read this, but I'm glad I did.
I'm already low-key dreading the upcoming film adaptation. The cast is right (Amy Adams! Jenna Ortega!), but can Taika pull it off? I guess we find out sometime next year.
