#Coventry's former Taybarns all you can eat buffet closed down; it later became a Brewers Fayre site and traded as such for years.
I've just been to the cinema and seen it with no signage - Google Maps and other websites states it has permanently closed down!
Wonder what is next for the site. 🤔

The former Maplin store in #Nuneaton.
This has been a pub ('Peacock Inn'), a Topshop / Topman store, a Burton menswear store, and Maplin.
Once it closed as Maplin, the Loungers' Piero Lounge opened here in November 2019.
The original sign for the Peacock Inn has also since been uncovered!

Starbucks first joined Nuneaton town centre in June 2007 until October 2009; they then opened a drive-thru at Nuneaton's Bermuda Leisure Park in 2018.

Since then, it has been a fruit and veg shop - and before it sold stationery, it was a Dixons store in the 80s!
The shopfront was recently updated.

This occupies the former Yorkshire Bank; it is named 'The Clarence' after the building itself - 'Clarence Building'.
Yorkshire Bank moved out in June 2017, and The Clarence have occupied it since December 2022.

Another former Frankie & Benny's restaurant! This was their restaurant in Coventry's Cross Point.
They also had two other locations in Coventry that are long-term closed.

Some folks are suggesting that the alt text field can be used to get around the 300 character limit on Bluesky, as alt text here has a much higher character limit. This is terrible advice, and if you do this, know you'll confuse and annoy a lot of screen reader users. That's not a good thing to do.

One of the many former Pizza Hut dine-in restaurants in #Coventry.
This particular location was at the Arena Shopping Park. It opened around 2006 and closed in 2022.
This building has been retained, but the front entrance is now blocked off.
It is now a Starbucks drive-thru!
