Amarie does *not* like the cold 🤣
Thankfully, it doesn't seem to get too bad in the Gate, but even then it can still get uncomfortable for her. In fact, one of the reasons why she rarely shows skin with her custom outfits is because she always runs a little cold and wants to stay warm 🤭

Amarie is definitely pride 🤣
She’s always taken great pride in her abilities, and after losing her memories she tries to cope by leaning into her combat skills. If anyone dares to question her ability, she’s more than willing to put it all on the line to prove otherwise 🗡️

Grief is something that creeps up on Amarie as her memories start to resurface during her postgame meditations. In the past, she always tried to avoid grieving by putting everything into her work – but now, it's something that washes over her, leaving her paralyzed in its wake. [1/3]

At first, Amarie is motivated by her desire to understand her condition and her past (and of course to find a cure for the tadpoles), but after rejecting her Father and defeating the brain she becomes a cleric of Jergal as a way to dedicate her life to fighting the Dead Three.
If Amarie had to put together a party postgame, she’d want to choose Voss, Keene, and Lucretious. She respects all of them and *knows* they'd be able to get any job done, but at the same time worries it would be nigh impossible to find something they’d all be willing to do to begin with 😂

Amarie treasures every moment she gets to spend with her young son Emir after reuniting with him postgame. She loves hanging out with him and often brings him with her around town; he really is everything to her, and she wants nothing more than to give him a stable, loving life 🥺💕

Amarie’s canon Jergal cleric outfit is finally finished and I am literally SO happy with how it came out 🥹
And I guess I’ll make a short thread about it too! About the outfit itself and what it means to her 😁

🎂 Amarie is 114 at the start of the game (born 10 years after BG1)
💀 Led the Bhaalists for ~90 years, slowly rebuilt the cult
🐕 Loves dogs but is a little uneasy around them
⛈️ Has a lot of emotions but struggles to express herself properly
“This is my choice and my burden to bear.”

Postgame, Amarie’s reveries are plagued with unease and suffering; flashes of her past, of Gortash, bubble up to the surface every now and then, forcing her to reckon with the fact that he’s not only dead but that she’s one of the people directly responsible. [1/2]
They’re also still unnamed, but here are Amarie’s parents! They were both Baldurian high elf nobles who worshipped Corellon; her mother was a cleric while her father was a fighter. They had no children of their own and adopted her when she was a baby. [1/2]

After she became more of a real character, I spent time trying to get into her head and figure out how she used to live pre-BG3. The more I thought about it, the less I could ignore how much he meant to her. [2/3]

I made Amarie for BG3 and let her personality develop as I played her. She romanced Astarion because I was curious about his story and thought they’d work well together, but I feel like canonically they’d have something closer to a queerplatonic or undefined relationship by the end. [1/3]

Amarie has a long life ahead of her, so I wouldn’t discount it completely, but it really would take a lot for her to fall in love again. At the same time, though, the fact that she found romantic love to begin with would give her hope that one day she might be able to experience it again 🥺

This is my resist durge Amarie! She was a devout cleric of Bhaal pre-tadpole but ends up becoming a cleric of Jergal postgame.
And I'll tag @willowyn.bsky.social of course!! 😌

Since Amarie's spellcasting was directly tied to Bhaal, she was actually forbidden from using healing magic on Gortash unless it was during a high-stakes mission. Deep down, though, she still wanted to help him, and often resorted to using potions alongside her own medical expertise. [1/2]

Amarie is mourning her lost love, her parents, and her childhood dog. A part of her thinks she doesn't have the right but she can't stop herself from feeling what she feels. The best she can do is to keep moving forward and to continue to build a new life for herself and her new family.
