Hello, I'm Kurt! Since 2011 I've been walking to the Far Lands in Minecraft and I'm finally getting close to them! On today's stream we might see the final 'Spawn Chunk' which will be the last major milestone until our destination. We're also raising money for charity! Live: twitch.tv/kurtjmac

My wife's updated and renewed passport arrived today. Huge sigh of relief. One step closer to GTFO of here.

Baby digging his first crates... yeah, they're ones we already own going into the shop, but still. The urge is there.

Finished reading The Handmaid's Tale yesterday. Had to put it down a few times to take a break just to be confronted with news that was just as bad...

I sincerely don’t know why people aren’t physically stopping those dorks. Move shit. Lock doors. Lose the keys. Everyone switch seats. Turn off all the lights. Switch the signs on the elevator lobby. Make the settings all silly. Use a different language. Wear costumes. Fill rooms with balloons

Making a move back to Japan this summer. Brushing up my resume and networking. I have 5 years eikaiwa experience, TESOL MA, excellent English, manager experience, N4-N3 and a very strong work ethic. I'm open to any field that will Visa sponsor me and pay at least ¥270k/mo. Help me find a job!

For my English followers, especially LGBTQ people in the US, this is a message of solidarity from Japan. T-Net, the trans rights advocacy group in Japan, has issued a statement on Donald Trump’s Executive Order today.

I'm stuck in the US until summer because I have to bring my cats with me when I move abroad. Really kicking myself for not getting their paperwork started sooner.

I'm a happily married liberal father of one moving to Japan some time this summer. I'm in my early 40s, nerdy and love food. I'm looking to connect with similar people. Must be LGBTQAI+ positive! Would love to meet people living in Japan already, but not necessary!

I keep trying to use BlueSky but the Discover algorithm here needs WORK, man. It's literally just cats for me, which. I like cats, but not just cats. I tried searching "Osaka" and it's all soapland ads rofl

It's so nice he can sit up in the carts now. He is a lot happier and it gives me a lot more space for groceries. Did not buy the cute orange bear, but it was a travel companion for a while.

Guess I'm finally over here now, too. I've been more active on Threads, but this place feels more familiar. Anyway, hi!
