Homemade bagels! Flavors: poppy seed, Asiago, French toast (cinnamon and sugar), and butter. I watched the “Bagels with Lauren Grovesman” episode of Baking with Julia and painstakingly wrote down every step. Pause, rewind, play. DELICIOUS!! Asiago was my favorite :-) #homemadebagels

Finished watching the new Netflix documentary “Buy Now: The Shopping Conspiracy” and the timing couldn’t be better going into 2025 (and alllllll the changes it will bring). Also, the 100% plant-based shoe that Eric Liedtke showed at the end is by Unless Collective, his start up 🌍🌲🌎

First attempt making bread. Decided on a cheese bread, mostly because the recipe called for yeast and no kneading, which seemed low risk enough to accomplish the goal and give me confidence to try a second bread recipe. It turned out great! I added 2 cups cheese but would do more next time. Yay me!

Skulls! 💀 I made my first plaster mold — 3 main parts and an additional plug to make a completely enclosed hollow cast. First pic is of the prototype, bone dry, bisqued. Turned out well!!

My parents and I built an outdoor studio for my messy art hobbies like pottery, concrete, plaster, silicone mold making, mosaics, etc. Our tradition is always dinner together on the first move-in day :-) Repurposed carport bought at Costco. 10/10 recommend
