I used global entry and I got asked my name and he waved me through. There was no one after baggage claim.
I assume it had everything to do with BA collecting all the info before you can check into your flight. 🤷🏻♀️

The BA customs area at JFK was bleak two weeks ago. Poorly lit and five people working. Scan passport and go.
