I can say that act 1 is balanced, act 2 is goated, and act 3 is why I can’t recommend the game for goty. It’s the most “your mileage may vary” game ever

I was happy to use some mods when I reached act 3. Devs have fully mastered HK and been playing SS for 7 years as well so it’s valid they sometimes can’t the forest for the trees. I played SS (at launch) without ever playing HK, I thought the first two acts balance was fine, but act 3 wasn’t.

Yep. I just sold my copy of Persona 2 for $375. It’s wild what people will pay for things, irrespective of nostalgia. Try not to let it get you down. I sold ALL my n64 stuff back in January. Yesterday I learned about the analogue3D. Say lah vee.

The power to leave when you want/need cannot be overstated. When I finally learned to do this to escape from my toxic af father it was so empowering. The first time I exercised this power, I was told afterwards that he asked where I went, and was informed I left because of him which left him stunned

I had a conversation about this just the other day on twitch. My gamertag was created in like 2003-4 and I never cared about the score from the outset. Been an avid gamer my whole life and I’m sitting at just over 20,000 points 😆 if I had 100% every game I’ve played it would be over 1m points

I have a good friend who has an amc starz membership or whatever and has seen hundreds of movies, and i don’t think he’s ever seen a movie he didn’t like, it’s funbelievable! So I’m positive he will also say (perhaps verbatim) what you’re saying if I were to ask if he’s seen it.

My therapist told me something similar. Though I took a big step by escaping the source of my trauma, the ptsd will continue for some time while I’m healing. It just takes time and space and love and support 🖤

If it’s akin to ME legendary edition remasters then I’m sold. But I only want origins remastered and possibly QoL changes depending on what and how.

Ooh! Or perhaps flip the script and you start without any powers/upgrades and suddenly you’re granted full powers/upgrades and have to gradually rid yourself of them so by the final boss you’re once again powerless. As you mentioned the abilities are cursed so to keep them is certain doom.

I heard it was a sloppy reboot that took the franchise in a direction no one wanted or asked for. I also heard no one was excited by the Leto casting. I’d be interested in listening to the soundtrack at some point.
