Today, October 8, is #LatinaEqualPay Day. The pay gap harms Latinas, our families, our futures, and our entire country. We can’t wait to be paid equally, and we shouldn’t have to. #Trabajadoras

#CALeg proposed $100 million for crime survivor services. Now, it is up to @governor.ca.gov to include funding in the final #CABudget to protect survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, child abuse, and other violent crimes.
June 9, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Advocates, legislators, and prosecutors joined together at the CA Capitol and urged @cagovernornewsom.bsky.social & #CALeg to fund $260 million for lifesaving crime survivor services.

Over 250 advocates & survivors rallied for
@governor.ca.gov & #CALeg to level fund crime victim services! Survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, & other crimes cannot heal after trauma without California's leaders stepping up & supporting essential, life-saving services! #defendVOCA4CA
May 22, 2025 at 3:52 PM
🚨 @governor.ca.gov is ignoring the calls of survivors in his May revised budget. CA cannot build its budget on the backs of victims of crime.
