I've thought about this so much. We know the recipe for human happiness, and yet we repeatedly decide to throw it out in pursuit of misery. It's an insane choice to keep making, and I find myself puzzled that we've managed to get this far with it.

It's really important that people understand LLMs aren't capable of logic. They morph inputs into outputs by comparing the most frequently related information in their training sets. They aren't capable of judging or reasoning about anything any more than a power adapter you plug into a wall.

It's a very real problem. When you review the statistics for average reading comprehension scores, things look even more dire. How are we supposed to communicate anything when people struggle to use the most basic tool we have to do so?

Real. Sadly, even fewer of us have the time and money to make something like that happen.
