President Carter leaves an enduring legacy of public service. Most of those who have and will benefit from his work to eradicate horrific diseases will never know his name. A true servant leader.

Usually the rotunda in our PA state capital is a place of hustle, bustle and strong words but every once in a while it is a place of peace, inspiration, and grace. And sometimes I’m lucky enough to be there to see it. 🎄

Not in the headlines but should be. The short-term funding bill includes a 1-year extension of the Farm Bill. That means SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) will continue to deliver essential food support to over 2m folks in PA, our Ag community & over 10k participating food retailers.
Breaking News: The Senate approved a three-month funding bill shortly after the midnight government shutdown deadline. The bill now goes to President Biden’s desk. www.nytimes.com/live/2024/12...
