Trump shut down includes SNAP. But Dem lawmakers said emergency funds shd be used. 2 judges said the same. So hopefully apparently Trump cant block it but who knows.

Jane Goodall was my first childhood hero, as I loved animals as a kid and was inspired by her story. I still remember the National Geographic specials about her. RIP.

One of the greats has passed. Robert Redford was a celebrated actor, director, and someone who held a mirror up to America. His work will live on, but we Ordinary People will feel The Sting of his loss for years. Rest among the stars now, and when you see heaven, may a River Run Through It.

RIP Graham Greene. Every time he popped up on screen when I was a kid, my mom would excitedly point him out for being an actual Native on the screen. Able to be deadly serious and infinitely hilarious (even in smaller roles like Last of Us), he ate up the screen. Nʌki’wah brother.

My grandson came over with his new hunting pack and gear.. he emptied his old one on my work table, and we started to pack up the new one while we talked..I smiled when some of the first items he put in was a roll of Duct tape and a harmonica.. yup, he learned that from Survivor Man…

Slept only a couple of hours, got up , made coffee..the dogs and I sat in the screened porch staring into the darkness.. PTSD can overwhelm you.. like a tsunami of memories.. it’s not the early years when I was in the shit that haunt me, it’s the latter years of hunting in the shadows ..I’m good now
