100% agree (see profile pic) but people always elide the fact that the first reconstruction happened after the first civil war. You don't get a reconstruction without the total destruction of the opponent's political and economic system
We’re going to need a third Reconstruction.
I'm pretty confident in America's ability to comeback from this, but it's dependent on more or less a single thing with a further condition: a working constitutionalist majority in both chambers of Congress, and one that can be sustained for more than a single term
