St. Louis planning, policy, and politics since 10/31/2004.
Have been hospitalized most of November, will start therapy tomorrow. Still I’ll likely end up in home hospice soon. Please give to my husband to pay co-payments. gofund.me/64465804 #stevepatterson #cancersucks

Update: had a bedside procedure (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thorace...) that drained a liter of fluid off my left lung! May repeat the right side tomorrow. #cancersucks

Finally got someone at Metro to change the #32 alert, for months the bus has turned right on O’Fallon rather than left. #stl

8pm last night traffic on Kingshighway & WB Forest Park was solid, many likely missed the balloon glow. Did they all think they’d be able to drive right up to the balloons? View from 12th floor Parkview Twr #stl

Eleven bus routes connect at CWE TC, but a Metro press release about taking transit to the ballon glow/race only mentions light rail. WTF!?! Your anti-bus bias is showing! #stl

Since July ‘22 the #32 Metro bus had a reroute due to 10th St being closed for convention ctr const: left on O’Fallon rather than straight. But now it turns right on O’Fallon to left on Tucker. Another reroute involving lunchtime live on Locust only applies if bus goes left on O’Fallon. #stl

Bailey’s Range, 10th & Olive will shutter after 8/31/23. Interestingly no sign on door indicating this, only hours listing of 4pm-8pm — oddly not open for lunch. #stl

Some of my #ColumbusSquareNeighborhood neighbors think 9th & 10th Streets should remain one-way, incorrectly thinking that’s safer. I’ve long argued these should return to 2-way, 9th is still too wide. #stl

Bus reroutes are common, but the #32 @ 6pm isn’t following the posted reroute. Instead it goes right on O’Fallon, left on Tucker — cutting out many later stops! #stlmetro #fail #stl
