Finally, we hear Bix’s Theme most poignantly and emotionally in the final scene of the show. This time the resonant bell has longer gaps between rings, and is an emotional wallup of feelings, hope and sadness… and the show ends. #Andor #BixsTheme

We hear Bix’s Theme in #Andor a third time in S2E9 “Welcome to the Rebellion” at the end of Bix’s goodbye recording to Andor. Here the resonant bell is more clear and pronounced as she finishes, and we see her emotional goodbye, and his absolute loss hearing/seeing it the next day.

In E8 “Who Are You”, we see Dedra break down after the Ghorman Massacre, was it after losing Syril, or realizing she’s has instigated a genocide or both? The same resonant echoing bell sound has grown a bit stronger, but still a bit muted.

Andor’s music is so powerful in the final episodes From S2E7’s Messenger to the finale S2E12, we hear the resonant warm bell of what might be called Bix’s Theme in 4 episodes. All are deeply meaningful emotional moments.

We start with E7 when the Force healer tells Bix that Cassian is a Messenger

Moving forward, we’ll need more arcaded sidewalks on commercial streets. They provide protection from hot sun, a bit of wind protection, and add more floor area above.

How about we rezone the less wind risky north-south streets with these? I’m looking at you Valencia, Polk, and maybe West Portal!

Happy 10 year anniversary (+8 months) to the 55 Muni bus line. You may be newer, you may be rerouted as the 55 Dogpatch, and once were the 55 16th St. You are beloved either way. @sfmta.com

“That creeping sea level? It’s not really the big problem. It’s that the storms we used to call ‘once in a century’ are happening more often.” www.bloomberg.com/news/feature... #OceanBeach

Raising Ferry Building in San Francisco?
“Researchers have found that adaptation at heritage sites often falters over concerns that elevating buildings (even if it keeps them dry) or adding green infrastructure (stormwater benefits be damned) will compromise authenticity.” @sfport.bsky.social

I know Michael Painter did the concepts for the Great Highway area in late 1970s. I’ll have to find the original document to see if there are more details.

See the page it came from in this photo.

A playground once existed between Lower and Upper Great Highway, just north of Sloat on March 5, 1923. You can see the Wawona pedestrian tunnel under Great Highway at right.

Turkish leaders want to build a new canal to effectively replace the naturally occurring Bosphorus. Not sure this mega project makes sense and is more about land and development grab.

22nd St Caltrain station is NOT where a transportation plan would place a critical rail station.
16th St with its proximity jobs (UCSF, hospital), housing and activities (Chase Center arena) is where it should be placed. #DTX #PortalSF @sfplanning.bsky.social @sftru.bsky.social

Makes me wonder, what would be best route from Pittsburgh to NE Corridor when combining the following criteria:
1. Connecting city pairs
2. Northeastern Corridor thru running connection to NEC cities
3. Construction efficient route (not too $$)
