I awoke wanting to jump right back to this convo. No, human beings do not somehow have inherent "property rights" on The Universe but we do all reside in the universe. The Olmec people of Mexico w/ their giant heads of perhaps Lebanese sailors had a connection to the universe severed by colonization
Why am I squeezing in a conference before I go on medical leave? Because it's my favorite conference of the year. These are the people I want to be with when so many things are going wrong. For those of you who aren't at @socialismconference.org, here are some remarks I shared today.
