The bamboo is never ending 😭 the roots are so strong and everything is connected. It’s in multiple spots in the yard & it’s been there for 60 years 😳 it probably won’t be gone for years. But I also can only do so much bc my body is always broken so I’m slow (and I get distracted by other places 🫠)

My grandpa built his house & my mom always knew how to fix things. We only hired people to fix things if it was super serious, so I’ve always just had to figure these things out! (I’ve never even considered replacing siding tho, so that might take me a bit 😬)

I’ve also been on a mission to match this paint color. This paint is on cabinets in the garage & is the original from when the house was bought. My mom finds it cringe, but I like it. I was rained in the other day & was literally weighing out paint color combos to try to match it 🫣 #QueProblems

The front door was also peeling & has some warped wood so I started peeling the paint & veneer off & then it got too rainy & humid to finish. The fence on 1 side is partially rotted & some siding needs to be replaced, so apparently I’m going to learn how to do this 🫠 #QueProblems

I found a 5 gallon tub of paint in the garage from the last time the house was painted. There was a hard lump in the middle that wouldn’t mix at all, so I tried taking a knife to it only to discover it was a paint roller left in the bucket. Sometimes Que is extra dumb 😃

Apparently I’m an exterior painter now, too. The paint is peeling on parts of the house so I’ve been trying to fix it & I discovered the color of the house when my mom bought it (in 1974). The yellow & green is the original
