Huge congratulations to our director @mendelrandom.bsky.social on this prestigious medal, which MRC is awarding to him next week.
Honoured to receive the 25th Anniversary MRC Millenium Medal. My mid-1980s epidemiological apprenticeship was at the MRC Epidemiology Unit in Cardiff in the mid-1980s, and my senescence with the MRC IEU, closing in March 2028

We've just come back from a great weekend at the Green Man Festival. Weather was lovely, music was great and we had a great time talking with ~1500 people about what health research questions they would like answers to. Lots of reflections to share - once we've finished unpacking and sleeping!
