I've never seen one vandalised or seen stats that suggest they are more prone. (Although haters probably vandalise them now lazy, pointless "activism") And their safety record is good. Even my 4 year old one is streets ahead of many new cars. Elon is an awful person. But the cars are very good.

But think about what you are asking. You want everyday people who bought a car in good faith to lose thousands in a bit to "tank" the resale price to have a negligible effect on new tesla price to cost elon a tiny amount which will have no effect on his relationship with trump. It's not worth it!

Fair question. The answer is yes, but interestingly Tesla uses some aspects of servicing as a loss leader so it might not even be necessary. There are plenty of 3rd party ev shops. But at some point down the line a spare part will likely become from Tesla. But we're taking trivial amounts of money.

But the true battle is not about Elon, it's about winning people over. We have to do more than just say "the other guys are bad". And this is where progressives get it wrong.

I gotta break it to you, you're not going to financially harm Elon Musk in any significant way by manipulating the second hand market. A boycott of new Teslas will hopefully get him removed as CEO, we will see.
