I thought US oil production would peak in 26 or 27 but I’m pretty sure that these low prices will insure a loss of production that the US will never completely overcome in 25!

The Permian was built on debt and is still sitting on mounds of losses from throughout its history. It has been a scam from the get go.

I can’t believe how obliviously naive most Americans are when it comes to their future supply of oil and nat gas. The Permian is just about to roll over and so much of the current nat gas production is a sign of tired and worn out Permian fields.

It seems that the US depended on a set of shared values from all parties, a sense of decency and fair play rather than specific laws to uphold democratic norms. There are no guardrails to constrain Trump and his cronies. The democrats are clinging to the shadow of what was and are ineffectual.
