I talk about rpgs and have published a couple of microgames, available at https://unseenlibrarian.itch.io/
There's the licensed Konosuba TRPG that got an English translation a few years back, which is probably the most straightforwardly "This is an Isekai RPG" being based on an actual isekai property and having selecting your cheat ability as part of the mechanics.

Getting my Fallout examples going for Hollywood Underhills. Next up, Cash Stress, which will include both "You had to pawn your gun" and "You pawned your gun and someone bought it to use in a crime" as moderate upgrade of that.

Digging up some old Feng Shui 2e homebrew and considering how to stick this gimmick into other games because look, nineties supernatural procedurals had this shit all over whenever you had a guy who could be shoved into a period outfit and made to reflect on his past.

Pioneering new levels of dirtbag by putting my middle-aged divorced dad of a WOL in the Moonfire Fair glam. #ffxiv

It's not a coincidence that Elder Scrolls and Dark Souls were both made by Glorantha nerds, is all I'm saying.

Setting up my Resistance-powered version of Underhills so you can trade tiny pieces of your soul for power, it's fine. Nothing bad can happen from trading consequences now for ongoing worse consequences later.

Procyon Cleanhands: aka "The Raccoon" a would be crimelord with a heart of gold. Well, silver. Well, maybe brass.

Starfinder has some really fun aliens that you wouldn't think would be made as PC options.
Like the contemplative, which is apparently technically going to have a playable option release before the official rules for humans are out for 2e.
Love a big floating brain with a tiny human body

Suddenly felt compelled to update my oldest FIST 3rd party book for better compatibility with Ultra, and so itch folks who own Agents of B.O.O. can expect some sort of update notification in a few days, now with more cryptid agents!

Still my top piece of game design for my post-apocalyptic arthurian game. He's always wrong about everything!

Considering the number of times we framed people for our crimes/fuckups in the Copperhead County game, Blades '68 has my number.

So a while back I was playing an Inksmith in Spire and decided to a couple mockup magazine covers using the Pulpomizer to represent the kind of trashy magazines my PC worked at, and now I'm porting them over from that other place to share here.

Speaking of very specifically named classes, back to work on my own for the new year.

Break!! by Reynaldo Madriñan and Grey Wizard games is a game I remember seeing advertisements for for literally over a decade, with suggestions that it was coming soon. It finally got a kickstarter and official release, and it's wild to hold a copy in hand. It definitely has a unique style.

Unity Rpg by Zensara studios. This one of of the 4E D&D Heartbreakers that happened a couple years before a wave of others. Unfortunately it seems to have pretty much stalled after the release of the core book- the company webpage still directs people to google+, for example. It has some fun ideas.

Runequest from Chaosium is the first RPG I ever played, so I can't be objective about it at all. I was five and I was able to play a duck warrior, who I named Donald, because when you're five you think that's very clever. It's a game of bronze age adventure where everyone has at least some magic.

Hard Wired Island by @ettin.itch.io and @freyjavalentine.bsky.social is a retrofuture cyberpunk RPG set in the far future year of 2020, on a O'Neil cylinder called Grand Cross. I really like the way a character's financial debt is handled with the burden mechanic, as well as the Leverage vibes.

Haunted West by @darkerhue.bsky.social and crew. This is a tome! They somehow made a book that's a primer on real old west history, the alternate history developed for the book, and at least two sets of rpg rules! i'd love to get it on the table one day.

Sentinel Comics RPG! by Greater Than Games. Probably one of my favorite superhero RPGs at this point- I love the way it gives the environment a role in scenes, making it much easier to do things like disaster rescue scenarios or a ticking bomb as well as the pacing elements for using abilities.

Double Cross! by FEAR. It's Japanese game about playing people infected with 'The renegade virus' that manifests in the form of super-powers, but comes with a risk of the virus going rampant and turning you into a monster. There's a fun push your luck mechanic to avoid this.

Mutants in the Now/Next, by @j-k.games a game about playing mutant animals in the style of certain other games from the 80s and 90s. It's got loads of fun animal facts, an in-depth character creator for making all kinds of mutants and is the game I most want to try and turn into Gargoyles.

Atomic Robo the RPG, from @evilhat.bsky.social! I'd bounced hard off of previous versions of Fate, even the core, but for some reason the building blocks of megastunts and modes getting tossed into the mix really worked for me, along with comic panel rules examples.

One of the oldest ones I have, SPI's Dragonquest. Some folks believe that TSR bought out SPI to get Dragonquest cancelled (More likely it was their rival RPG magazine.)Some elements of the Dragonquest setting ended up in the Forgotten Realms! My first introduction to the Goetia, for some reason.

Hard City: A noir RPG from a publisher a lot of folks don't think of as an RPG company. Osprey, better known for their illustrated military guides. The system seems to share some DNA with both City of Mist and Blades in the Dark, with Blades flashbacks replaced by noir monologues.
