Recently made and gifted a hodge-podge scarf for a friend. Other than that, working on a big cross stitch commission for another friend that I can't wait to show off when it's done.

The neighbor's kids are interested in weaving so we are making them scarves together. These kids have awesome ideas for colors! And pretty good patience for 6-year-olds!

My state fair submission is back home - with a red ribbon and a score of 95/100!

Gearing up to piss people off at an art fair this weekend!

There are literally 3 rugs, 1 pet bed, and a yoga mat around her. All of which provide more cushion and grip than the bare floor for her old bones and bad hips! We love our girl, but she is not bright.

I posted an interview with Andry Hernández talking about his experience in CECOT on FB. This was the response my mom sent me. I'm sensing some guilt here, but honestly, she, unlike my father, will at least admit what's being done is wrong.
A FB message that reads: I'm not sure what you want from me regarding the podcast. Andry and the other people involved should never hae been treated as they were. Before people are deported they need to be found guilty of any criminal acts that make them undesireable in this country. Trump and Noem are caring the deportation too far. The fact that he fit the LGBTY profile shouldn't make any difference. He is a human being and should be treated as such.

This was my first attempt at block printing - a cat, of course.
