I’m at the age where if the heart rate monitor on the gym treadmill doesn’t give me a reading, instead of assuming it is broken, I check my pulse to see if, in fact, I am dead.

Every time a FG is missed, I remember back to guy I knew who was a kicker for a major CFB program.
He missed a kick right before half. In the locker room, he threw his helmet down in frustration. The helmet bounced up and broke the arm of their starting QB.
