The Trump admin has unveiled plans to open California’s coastline to offshore oil drilling for the first time in decades, a move that has sparked swift and fierce backlash from state leaders. The proposal, which outlines up to six federal lease sales between 2027 and 2030, would mark the first

The Democrats encouraged Trump’s crime spree. Weakness in the face of lawlessness does not appease it. It endorses it. That’s what these eight Democrats, plus Schumer, have done. Trump was already hurting people to avoid compromise and force the Democrats into submission. Now he knows what works.

MS learned nothing from the Recall debacle and now they're doubling down with AI too.

No-one is surprised by now.

Bonus points for being invisibly installed and of course, it's opt-out.
If you're using Windows 11, Microsoft is now surveilling you in a new way. This may already be turned on on your computer, and you would not be notified; it activates whenever they detect you are in a "game", which in my experience Microsoft often false-positives on

Respectfully Senator, you need to remove Schumer as Senate minority leader or we have no chance.
In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."

The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.

And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

I'm hearing the same thing. Dems are nearing a surrender. I'm shocked. Largest protest in history + best election night in years + polling showing we're kicking their ass in public opinion. And now Dems may cave.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Some on the far right want to repeal the 19th amendment. Many more share a coercive, patriarchal view of women.

I wrote about this and how the far right sees subjugating women as key to building the sort of electorate they need to win. @liberalcurrents.com
