“In other messages, Epstein described Trump as a ‘maniac’ showing signs of ‘early dementia.’”

My son’s in 1st grade, LOVES reading and math. Got all A’s! We took him out for ice cream, congratulated him. But he has also grown emotionally (empathy, self-control) so much the past few months. We’ve told him how proud we are. This note from his teacher moved me far more than his report card.

Hmm, that’s nice, maybe sing Kumbaya. Anyway, here’s a pic photojournalist Armando Sanchez took for the Chicago Tribune of a fed pointing a gun at him in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood on Saturday, during one of their many attempts to terrorize people and try to ignite mayhem.

In Chicago we have the beloved Italian Beef, dipped. A large beef sandwich soaked in hot au jus, so the thing weighs like three lbs and would make a splat sound (and a big mess). It definitely wouldn’t bounce and stay intact.

Behold the losers, showing us who they are. What a satisfying read.

We got half as many trick-or-treaters this year, and we also convinced the six-year-old to trade 3 lbs of his 8-lb haul for Hot Wheels. My wife (high school teacher) took ~8 lbs of leftover candy to school and put it on her desk. This is how it looked after two classes.

I’m just a nobody and I’m two hops from a U.S. president, two U.S. senators and … Stanley Tucci.

We live a few blocks away and usually take our son to that parade. Here’s a photo from a previous year. I’m not sure footage of parents screaming in those fascist goons’ faces is the footage Herr Miller wants folks to see.

Aw, those poor cops look emotionally fragile, probably from the stresses of the job. I’m tempted to mail Fairhope PD some of these, to let them know they are loved.

Some people are torn on whether to wave the flag. To each their own. I’ll have this little one with me today. USCIS gave it to my wife in May when she was naturalized a U.S. citizen. At her oath ceremony were 99 people from 42 countries. She sat between a woman from Germany and a woman from Ghana.

Never seen/noticed so many marathoners on the Monday after a Chicago marathon. Clark/Lake Blue Line was packed this a.m. with Ohare-bound travelers. Downtown, River Walk crowded with people wearing medals. Boat tours full. Wonder what these visitors think of the “Chicago’s a hellscape” narrative.

My father served 30+ years as a USN submariner, retired a 3-star. He’s been to three protests, will be going on 10/18. A former bigwig, he knows his (red welfare state) senators and has written and called them to tell them they’re failing the American people. Fuck you Duffy, you lying piece of shit.

“Exceptional” or “actively dying and only held together by Aricept, speed and spite,” who’s to say really?

These weak, anti-American liars have their latest coordinated talking point down. Meanwhile in reality, they’re holding — gasp! — this family-friendly event before the Oct. 18 March in Chicago. It’ll be the biggest yet, and they’re scared.

My alder sends weekly “shots fired” email updates, ignores constituent emails, goes to block parties, won’t put in speed humps on residential streets, and thinks this (2 blocks from the Montrose Blue Line) is all good I guess.

My dad (USN submariner, retired a three-star) received the Stockdale Award. He fired lots of drunk dipshits like Pete over the years. His sign from the last protest.

Instead of victim blaming tips, y’all should do a story on drivers who’ve been financially ruined in lawsuits from pedestrians/cyclists they’ve hurt. Most drivers don’t care about flesh-and-blood humans they’re supposed to share the road with, but they would care about never being able to retire.

Even the Street View shows a car doing exactly what just almost led to me getting hit, a car from Hamlin turning right into Tony’s going over the crosswalk. In today’s case I yelled at the driver, smacked his car, called him an asshole, he still turned into me, forcing me to jump out of his way.

Almost hit by a car for like the 10th time while walking in the crosswalk in front of Tony’s on Elston. A couple years ago I was hit by a right-on-red driver. The two-way curb cut entry, on a corner of a diagonal intersection, is wildly dangerous. Nobody cares. Everybody on the NW side drives.
