Nice to get out diving again today. My 2 regular buddies both had different reasons to be out of the water for a while so it was ace to get us together again.

Cracking couple of dives today. Temp about as low as I think it will go this year.
Comfy and warm in the water, but that wind afterwards was a bit bracing.

Two years ago we laid a plaque on the Dunraven wreck dedicated our our good friend Zak who died just before the trip aged 27.
It was a peaceful wreck site that nobody died on. We wanted somewhere we could visit that reminded us of Zak the previous year.
We returned last year to find it missing.

A bit chilly. 6c in the water. Very cold in the car park.
Long drive home avoiding the motorway as the M6 was shut.

I made a decision in 2021 to get out and dive more and I'm glad I've stuck to it. Also decided to finally get around to MSD (so did).
The final part of the puzzle is my main dive buddy for years simply gave up and dropped out of my life. 1k+ dives under his belt and he said he'd 'had enough'.

Definitely not mine but that of my best mate. One hell of a good and well thought through setup.
Rebreathers aren't on my radar tbh but definitely appreciate a good setup.

I took the same approach on my winter kit too.
Different wings, single set Vs twin, but identical layout so muscle memory can be used for finding any part of my kit.
