I’ve changed my mind a couple times on what I’ve thought Amorim needs to do to get a competitive team out on the pitch, recently.
Technical ability is secondary to being able to run.

In my view. It’ll not happen.
Players who’ve looked very good in other systems are looking lost in this. (Martinez for one)

Rashford has done so much good on and off the field. So many amazing memories for Manchester United as a footballer.
But if he and United are to move forward it’s in everyone’s best interest to do it separately.
A wonderful talent who, for whatever reason, has stagnated at United.
Time to move on

I think a few of these players will really suit this system. And there’s a lot that don’t/wont.

1) Every player needs energy and legs.
2) The two in midfield are so important in terms of linking the whole team on and off the ball.
Casemiro and Eriksen, in particular, have looked well short of these points.
Evans has looked poor as well.
