The SS Edmund Fitzgerald was lost yesterday in 1975. I love Gordon Lightfoot's song about it, and TIL something: The day after Lightfoot died last May, the bell at The Mariner's Church in Detroit was rung 30 times: 29 to honor the dead sailors, and once for the artist who memorialized them in song.

I have no idea how I missed the news that, a decade after it was cancelled, Hulu picked up—and restarted—the Futurama TV series. It still pokes fun at everything (now including Hulu and streaming services), and it's still hilarious.

TIL the word "propaganda" comes from the name of a group formed in 1622 by Pope Gregory XV, the Congregatio de Propaganda Fide (congregation for propagation of the faith), responsible for fostering the spread of Catholicism. Its meaning changed over time, of course.
