Now in its 3rd year, Fairview Youth in Action, PORCH–Hillsborough, Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC, and Farmer Foodshare partnered to provide FREE boxes of fresh, local produce and eggs to 50 Fairview families, expanding access to healthy food. 🥕🥬

New paper! 📢 Our team at @unchpdp.bsky.social published research on our participatory grantmaking pilot with our community partners.

We tested "network voting" (developed by U of MN colleagues for SNAP-Ed) to let grantees make funding decisions, instead of funders.

Funded by UNC Rural’s RREAF Award, FFORC and DNA partnered to co-design and facilitate a pilot program called Unheard Voices, for youth in foster care of the Duplin and Sampson County area.
