I usually repair stuff myself. Most things a repair tech can do is on par with what a hobby tinkerer can. What limits the effort is lack of service manuals and access to spare parts.

Unfair to call it that, the same paragraph included Jesuits and all monks as well. Wonder if they would have kicked out Buddhist monks, or just the catholic ones.

Lots of cooperation excluding the US these days, next-gen fighters are e.g. Euro-Japanese projects, but the smartest is to do as the Israeli + UK and keep SW domestic. Norway delivers key spare parts to the F35, some chemicals that are not trivial to replace.

Kinda doubt there's a kill switch as in they stop flying mid-air, but nosupport can effectively be a slow moving one.Also the F35 is deeply integrated into the US combat networks and kinda blind without them. If there was a de facto kill switch, and the US used it, they'll also be killing their MIC.

Well, we had to pay for parking. And I had to pay for coffee in the maternity ward canteen. Via Vipps. It was like 15 NOK per cup. And an honour system. So there is that.

Sadly, it helps a lot when a foreign power is assisting in manipulation everything from billionaires to whole social media systems.

OK, fine. I propose this deal: Ukraine can give up the areas in Kursk, Russia can GTFO of all Ukrainan areas, incl. Crimea, shut the hell up about NATO and pay war damages the next hundred years or so.

Hard one. The Nutcracker is a gateway drug into classical music for children. My girl is obsessed by it, knows all the parts, when we play it she can retell the story behind every part. I'm introducing her to other classic music now and maybe she'll get over it.

That is a lot more users than I'd imagined, for both platforms really. But good on Bsky for the gains, being here is like a young Twitter again.

This is what we have been doing for years and years in Norway, you'd be hard pressed to find an apartment complex that don't have a communally provided EV charging solution these days. The ones in the pic is kinda clumsy, wr to the power feed, a more expensive and time consuming way to do it.
