I think it’s one of the most beautiful things Ive ever seen. The scene where she and the brother are leaving and she’s in this green dress which picks up on the moss covering the tower - I just gasped at the beauty. The colours everywhere! 😍

Ooh!! I'll have to add that one to my (extremely long) list of contrafacts to La Marseillaise!! Here's the 'Southern Marseillaise', sung by a *very* different group of people:

Well, Mountbatten is certainly an appropriate name for the Pedophile Prince. Andrew was just keeping up a long family tradition:

I had never heard of Lindsey Halligan until reading this, but funnily enough, this is exactly what I thought she would look like

The Helen Lewis article in the Atlantic about the Riyadh comedy festival is superb. The section on Jimmy Carr alone should win awards.

Pretty standard for most Commonwealth countries, with some recent changes. UK Circuit judges in Crown court wear wig, violet robe w/ lilac facings & tippet (lilac 4 civil, red 4 crime). On ceremonial occasions, circuit judges also wear a matching hood, wig, black breeches, stockings + buckled shoes.

I mean, just look at this photo. Look at these crowds. What the hell does Starmer think he's doing? Does he think the public supports a ban on people asking for peace? A ban that says 'arrest grannies as terrorists'? What a colossal f*ck up.

Hey ABC Radio National, thrilled that you've had such a good response to your Top 100 Books of the 21st century, but given that you're about to write about this quite a bit, maybe inform your reporters that a novel is a work of fiction. If it's non-fiction, it's not a novel.

So I know I'm late to the party on this, but I've just started watching Arcane: League of Legends on Netflix, and... it's maybe the most beautiful thing I've ever watched? The use of light... it's just incredible. And the art nouveau and art deco styling... I'm in awe.

So this is what happens when you’re a white person in Australia who kills a black person, even when you send text messages like this right afterwards:

If you haven’t seen him in The Way We Were give yourself a treat and watch it - but by yourself, so you can moan with delight every time he appears on screen

I had literally just done a bunch of screenshots of Redford in The Way We Were - perhaps the greatest clothing of one of the most beautiful men to have ever lived. The movie opens with him in sailor dress whites for chrissakes! How were we supposed to breathe??

I went to school with Jen Robertson, who plays Jocelyn Schitt in Schitt's Creek. We acted in the school play together! She's a lot of fun.

For those who aren’t aware, Lord Mountbatten was the King’s uncle, his mentor, and the man he admired the most. He was ‘a notorious pedophile’, according to the FBI, and everyone covered up for him (and still does).
September 9, 2025 at 11:48 PM
All of these replies sort of conveniently forget to mention how the UK Establishment has led the way in covering up pedophilia, because Lord Mountbatten raped so many boys…. This is what Line of Duty was all about. The rot goes all the way to the top.
