Came <- from the doge meeting. Looks like the council is fractured as some members have stopped coming. They have backed down a little on the anti-library messaging. Departments are not doing as doge desires on closing projects. Doge is treated like a joke internally. #politics #doge #Jacksonville

Just came from the Jacksonville Doge Committee. They want to strip funding from the library to pay for firefighter & police pensions. Pushing hard on making library workers do more for less. Library already at 3-5 million deficit. #politics #doge #Jacksonville
