Took the new kayak out for the first time, my body might be a wreck but the water still loves me

3rd run done in 4 days... not long distances but need to get a grip of my lardy arse and this is a start. Knee MRI results tomorrow, more running, hiking and biking later in the week... Also managed not to eat 27 Kit Kat's today - result.

Did Go Ape yesterday in Peebles, mildly terrifying as heights are something of a worry... Survived though.

I did the unthinkable - booked the private MRI, my need to run again and stop being unhealthy currently override my socialist principles

Such a sad day, my NHS doctor this morning told me to get an MRI done privately on my knee. I've never thought the NHS would be so under pressure that they would tell you just to pay for the treatment you need. Sad times

The world's in pieces right now but my primary worry right now is 'why am I grinding my teeth so much?' I think I need to reprioritise...

Hiked Sunday (13km), ran tonight (3km) I mean I feel like total turd and my knee aches but progress. Now I'm sat poolside, listening to happy hardcore, boiling in my dryrobe but too fat to remove it

Have my knee and ankle calmed down enough to do a short run today - we'll find out later...
