So after a days work i just close my lid on my MacBook Pro making it go to sleep. The next day I expect to be able to open the lid and just continue where I left off, work wise and batterywise. This is never ever the case on windows, which is why i mostly just shuts the device off after a workday.

If windows had this figured out we wouldn’t have to shutdown the OS as often. My MacBook shuts down or reboots ONLY when patching.
