He’s worked at top studios, including RAK, Sarm West and British Grove, and put microphones in front of artists as diverse as UB40, Ellie Goulding, Plan B, Jack Savoretti, Nigel Kennedy, Carly Simon, Anne Peebles and Taylor Swift, as well as the best string sections and session players in town.

In'24, she became the owner of Sensible Music Studios, blending SSL consoles w a hybrid mixing approach. KYROS is set to continue their US tour and is working on their fifth album.

Shelby studied at The BRIT School & Middlesex University before joining KYROS as lead vocalist & keyboardist. After the band went independent in '15, she took over production, recording & mixing. This led to her joining Old Street Studios, where she quickly rose to studio manager and head engineer.

In '22, Austel released reworks album Feathers, alongside her first poetry collection ‘Morning Birds’.
Austel's self-produced album Dead Sea was released in '24. featuring collaborations with Grammy award-winning engineer Guy Massey and renowned mastering engineer Katie Tavini.

She began her career as a session musician, performing at Glastonbury Festival, supporting Fleet Foxes w Lyla Foy & touring multiple bands. Her EP ‘Unfold’ received praise from BBC 6 Music, Killing Moon & while '20s ‘Cold Love’ drew further support from O2 Music and Fresh On The Net.

For his music production, he's received several awards, including: Producer of the Year Award from The Africa Gospel Association, President Joe Biden Lifetime Achievement Award, Iconic Sound Engineer Of The Year and The Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity.

He was born in Ibadan, Nigeria & began his musical journey at 9 years old as a choirmaster in his local church, where he also played keyboard & drums. He would record these performances on cassette tape, analyse what was "weak" or missing and then overdub using a dual-deck cassette recorder.
