The UK is doing just fine. You simply have to ignore the insane right wingers. It's helpful that the UK is a lot smaller than the US so people tend to know that <insert village/town/city> has not fallen and is the same as it ever was. It rains a lot though.

If Farage had just admitted, apologised and repented his teenage racism - water under the bridge. But the fact that he has denied the truth and maligned those saying it NEARLY FIFTY YEARS ON, indicates to me not only his untrustworthiness, but that these antisemitic beliefs are not so historic

Despite the criticisms, Labour have not breached their Manifesto pledge not to raise taxes on working people. If people earn more, then they will inevitably pay more tax. The fact that the tax thresholds are frozen just means that they will get to paying higher marginal rates sooner.
