OK, I absolutely wasn't going to do this until it was officially released, but I need some feedback right now because I'm not in a good place. Any feedback.
So, here's Unnamed Track #1 by #AarDHD.
It's a Binaural Beats track, so it works best in headphones.
It's intended to help with relaxed […]

I've spent the evening trying to dig up dirt on the Stallone film, Judge Dredd.

The director, Danny Cannon, once gave an interview saying he'd like to re-edit the film onto a director's cut. Can't find it.

Also, I repeatedly found the quote from Stallone several years later on why he felt the […]

#nowwatching The Big Lebowski (1998)

Another cheat, it's just finished. We did start watching Heads of State but the opening action scene didn't exactly inspire us to keep watching.

Scrolling through the services, we came across TBL and Mrs Wife said she always wanted to see it.

The race was […]

Fellow UK film nerds, get down to your local Asda, now!

This glorious "making of" book about Del Toro's Frankenstein, judging by the Amazon reviews, I haven't opened mine yet 😄, can be grabbed for an utter steal.

The RRP is £55, Amazon and Forbidden Planet […]

A "so short it's not worth posting here" video clip on my Instagram feed confirms that we will see the first trailer for Supergirl this week.

Also, I read that after initial worries with Netflix buying Warner Bros, if the deal is approved, the people in charge are very happy to let James Gunn […]

I've rewritten a blog post from 2022 about Back to the Future, the game, primarily on the ZX Spectrum and submitted it to Film Stories.

There's no guarantee it will be published (still waiting on a previous submission), but I believe that my writing has improved over the last three years, in my […]

It looks like the developer of Calibre has taken the best path for including AI (apart from not introducing it in the first place). He posted on the Calibre forums, where there is an anti-AI thread. He states,

"There are no AI features in calibre unless you explicitly enable them. You don't […]

Uh, I didn’t see this coming:

Someone uses AI to create an image of a damaged bridge, and posts it on social media.

Rail operators have to stop their trains until someone can go out and check on bridge, confirming that it’s perfectly fine.

This looks like one last very bloody and entertaining ride. I hope the ending is satisfactory. Will they kill Homelander? He's such a fantastic villain I don't think they will but who knows?

@moshidon Quickly tried the new nightly build.

Wow! That's snappy and fast! The media loading is amazing.

I hope however, the app will have options or be made to look like the original version?

I love the full screen width text of Moshidon, that's why I jumped from Tusky.

It has come to my attention that Calibre has started adding AI shit into its functionality.

GOD FUCKING DAMMIT CAN I MAYBE HAVE JUST ONE PROGRAM THAT DOESN"T TRY TO DO AI BULLSHIT?

Just one? Maybe?

Anyway, if you want to have an AI-free calibre, you'll need to not upgrade past version 8.10. 😡

Today I finished the side profile view of the Deep Space Nine station!

There’s only 62 rows left, and they’ll make up the top view of the same station.

I do like how, by pure chance, the station sits within the complete […]

It's been a lazy, doing nothing kind of day. I went to the recycling centre and the shop but after that not much really.

Played a bit more Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer but I'm a noob in a sea of experts. Plus the 2010 game is showing its age a little with glitches even with details on […]

Blimey! Releasing old films is the next new thing!

Jeez! Lord of the Rings is 25 years old. I remember downloading the very first teaser (on my 56.6k modem I think) which featured behind the scenes footage (of various things, some of which was abandoned and never made it to screen) including […]

Omg! It's on the way! Now I paid Aus $40 for shipping. If I've read the Australian postal service right, that could be up to 7 working days? Will the Christmas post interrupt that? Am I too excited? Should I post a cheesy unboxing video when I receive it? (With my autism, you'd be lucky! 😂)

YouTube suggested a very recent video about HD-DVD.

I learnt that Macs can natively read HD-DVDs but not play them, nor can VLC, as they can't handle the encryption. (The only interesting point in the video) The YouTuber also used MakeMKV to rip the discs but never showed the results.
