One step closer to the inevitable parental crisis yesterday. Ambulance and paramedics. My mother also turned really aggressive towards my sister (dementia and Alzheimer's). My dad also continues to deny there's a problem. All sadly a subject of conversation among our contemporaries.

Headed into #Hexham for some odds and sods. Managed a peek inside the old #gaol (built 1332 to lock up those Border Reiver rascals and other rotters) where Hexham Art Club were exhibiting their efforts. A jolly lot and bought some raffle tickets. Drawn at 3pm so guess I didn't win?

Our last full day in the Algarve. There's something about this particular area which ticks all the boxes. We even spent our honeymoon here in 1989. Last night we went to a restaurant we first visited in 1987, same proprietor and we've kept in touch over the years. Will be sad to leave tomorrow 🇵🇹
