Colloquial Niiryyan Quyy'lie is most used in daily life. It omits arguments, tense markers, and question particles, and rarely inflects verbs. In writing, all of those are obligatory.

When talking to strangers or the elderly, one uses some more formal (1/3)

In Quyy'lie, the relative clause precedes the head. This structure (verb/adjective preceding a noun) is not possible in any other context, so I think there is no ambiguity (not entirely sure yet lol-)

Free relative clauses just use 'thing' as the head to nominalize the phrase
sii èrik chèras eji drink.1SG coffee hot PST ‘The coffee I drank was hot.’ ei è ezhi me que’ii 1SG see.1SG PST thing know.1SG ‘I know what I saw.’

Quyy'lie has several affixes to form more complex meanings, but only verbs inflect, and only for person and number.

also, as you can see, I finally redid the font I made for the ciyyi script!! this makes writing example sentences so much easier😭 it's far from perfect, but i'm a lot happier with it than the previous one :D
