The main linchpin at this point for Windows gaming is just anti-cheat. Once the linux market grows they're gonna have to do linux anti-cheat. It's a inevitability.

They won't ban corporate VPNs, they'll use their (heavy quotes) "advanced AI classifications" to ban "suspicious" VPN use. And when asked why usage is suspicious, they'll be able to fall back on the computer to avoid accountability: "you're suspicious because the computer said you're suspicious."

The lack of details about how the monitoring works, what parts of it are AI, what information it's accessing - to me strongly suggests they are profiling users.
