I'm grateful for the IHSS program. It gives me the opportunity to fulfill my mom’s wish. I would be tremendously sad if I had to put him back in a home, which is why we must protect & defend IHSS.

"I am my little brother's provider and caregiver. Recently in January of 2024 our mother passed away of pancreatic cancer. Our mom before passing asked me to take care of my brother. I stepped up and filled my mom's shoes. I quit my job and became my brother's full-time caregiver
