Rough month for Archrebel dev but things are back on track! The new level-up system is nearly done and a new weapon joins the roster: the Defense Gun; a 3-shot burst sidearm between the assault pistol and rifle; unlockable for most classes.

I had a player saying how fond he was of some of the details #Archrebel has, like the droid's flickering leds.

I took inspiration from the show you see in the video. I've seen this episode so many times that I still remember their lines when watching it now. 😅

Yeah, usually I just ignore the haters and trolls. But sometimes I do share my two cents. I tend to practice my English when I'm taking a pause to regain my development stamina and mana.

When you know your game by heart and completely overlook that others don't. Hopefully, now it's easier for players to identify the type of grenades (explosive, EMP and smoke) without needing to access their tooltips. 🥹

It's a small adjustment, but the missiles no longer draw on top of the smoke. You can see the effect of the second missile going through the smoke left by the first one. It's subtle but makes a huge difference.

Here's a quick video showing #Archrebel's cloak field being activated. Keep in mind that units can only remain hidden for as long as they don't take action while the effect lasts.

It's a bag? It's a mine? Nope, it's a cloaking device that masks a unit's signature from enemy eyes. It comes with an area of effect, so it will be able to cloak multiple units; Cloaked units cannot take any action or they will break the cloaking...

#Archrebel's mines now detonate in a cascade if placed adjacent to one another. This can work to your advantage or against you, depending on the strategy you choose to employ.

#Archrebel's Hacktool, which is used to capture droids, now can remotely jam droids too. The Hacktool can only be accessed through the Engineer class.
