The number of digitally illiterate decisions the UK government has made and keeps on making... mind-boggling.

Slowly destroying the internet whilst forcing Brits to hand over highly sensitive information to unknown entities. No questions about how those entities make money from this... Great.

Can lecturers in #healthcare please, PLEASE, stop telling students they have to do a 'SYSTEMATIC REVIEW' for the 2000 word literature review they are expected to do for their dissertation?

IT IS SO UNBELIEVABLY DAMAGING TO YOUR STUDENTS!!!

(and shows how little you know!)

Bit of a #CoPilot breakthrough - I've created an 'agent', essentially a wrapper, that has clear instructions to help as a project officer. I've given it access to public websites related to my work, and uploaded a range of related files.

Tell you what, so far it has sped up my work considerably.

Delighted with that #Arensman victory. What a performance! #TdF

Listening to the finale of today's stage on the commute back. Holy mackerel #Pogacar! What a massive blow to anybody who thought they could win this #TdF

Managed to watch this lecture on #AI and #education by ‪@veritasium.bsky.social‬ last night.

A lot of food for thought and a lot of points I agree with, made eloquently and with insight. We have to create a compelling argument for people to use AI to support their learning, not replace it.

Lovely meeting today trying to bring different parts of the amazing community here in Tayside together. My job's a bit of a blessing at times!

A little moan. You know Doodle, to do 'availability' polls for large meetings? If you get one of them once in a blue moon, fine. But getting four in my inbox this past week alone? Now I'm double checking the doodles against each other and my calendar and frankly, that makes them pointless.

Now that voice recognition is so good, how much longer will we be using keyboards?

Odd question I thought, but then I realised I already use the very poor Siri on a regular basis to carry out simple tasks...

So maybe not that long?

Excellent to see support for #digital literacy in the community. A model worth exploring here in Scotland as well.

If you use #CoPilot regularly, would you say it is:

A) Enhancing my productivity
B) Helping me with writing and reporting tasks
C) A great way to procrastinate
D) All of the above
E) None of the above

I am entirely undecided to be honest...

Right, a post with my thoughts on the recently announced 'Ten year health plan for England'. #NHS

I am pleased with the intent, but I am not sure about some of the detail.

There’s a growing and very real threat to Sheffield Wednesday #SWFC. One entirely induced by a charlatan owner who lied, deceived and manipulated his way into that position.

Football has become atrocious and it’s the fans that end up losing.

A lot to read and take in from UKGov's 10 Year Health Plan, but this sentence hits home:

If the NHS doesn’t feel like a single, coordinated, patient-orientated service, that’s for a simple reason: it isn’t one.

#NHS

We need better ways to embed the patient-perspective in our service design.

@alexgoldennba.bsky.social how is the trauma? I’m shellshocked but perhaps it will all work out? In Pritchard we trust? Would love if you guys got someone from the FO on to explain what is going on!

I've spent all afternoon trying to work out what the FO is doing. And I keep circling back to Herb Simon being a tight prick who will never get us a ring. Maybe I'll feel different tomorrow, but I am not confident. #Pacers #Turner

New track by #Muse distinctly incorporates elements of #SleepToken. But somehow it doesn't work for me, it feels too much like 'copied your homework mate, alright?'

I also don't think Matt's (Excellent!) voice works with this harder style.

Few of you will care about #Metal and even less about Deathcore but #LornaShore is just so incredible.

What Will Ramos manages to do with his vocals (LIVE!) is beyond anything I've ever heard and it excites me every single time. Thanks to ARTE concert! www.youtube.com/watch?v=udsS...
