NEW: The first two years of Massachusetts' millionaire tax has raised $3 billion more than expected.

And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

The 2025 #TreeForBoston is on its way! 🌲

This week, @mayorwu.boston.gov and Interim Parks & Recreation Commissioner Cathy Baker-Eclipse joined Nova Scotia officials and the Feener family in Lunenburg to help cut the 45-foot white spruce now bound for Boston Common. (1/3)

The International Criminal Court is ditching Microsoft Office, saying it’s too dependent on US tech, in favor of Open Desk, a German open source alternative.

The move comes after Microsoft revoked ICC head Karim Khan’s email access when he was sanctioned by the US for the warrant against Netanyahu.

Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

Growing up in Dorchester, my dad got his hair cut by Leonard Nimoy’s father in Mattapan.

This book by Adam Nimoy is an in-depth look at his famous father, the characters he played, and how his family life was affected by 50+ years of celebrity. Great book!

"This could take down Democrats, too."

I know. And I frankly wouldn't give even an itty bitty damn if it implicated every Democratic man in Congress, every Democratic hopeful for 2028 and every Democrat who has even thought about running for office.

Just cuz I suspect it's gonna be relevant: "underage women" is a contradiction in terms. There are adults and there are minors, who are children. Ditto "nonconsensual sex." That's rape. The only reason to play semantic games is because you benefit from obscuring the simplicity of these terms.

People really need to stop framing it is a question of getting more evidence. I mean, sure, that too. But we know. We all know. The president of the United States raped children. Say that. When they get mad at you for saying it, say it again and treat them like an idiot for pretending they doubt it.

So, we should be expecting daily news stories on inflation and price creep through the holidays?

No? You mean our media has been fully captured by the elite for political propaganda?
Donald Trump is Joe Biden now

POTUS's job approval on prices is where Biden's was during peak inflation in 2022-23. Voters say 2:1 that Trump has made the economy worse. Oh, and consumer sentiment among independents hit a new all-time low in November, www.gelliottmorris.com/p/donald-tru...
