Folks trying to argue that Halo isn't some sort of xenophobic Christian allegory are wasting their time. I don't know enough of the lore to determine whether it is or isn't, but let's be honest with ourselves. It's a violent pro-military game. That it's being coopted by the right isn't surprising.

There's lots of reasons to cancel Game Pass (BDS chiefly among them). But if you need another reason, they seem fine with their IP being used to recruit for ICE while seeming to compare immigrants to a sub-human hivemind plague
I asked Microsoft PR about this—specially the DHS using Halo IP to recruit for ICE—and the company declined to comment.

Every post about AI games is like "this is gonna be the future of game development" and then shows a gameplay video with really high production value but also problems that the technology will never evolve past, like a fundamental misunderstanding of the reality its trying to simulate.

This is why I have not been able to enjoy Pokemon games as an adult.

A lot of us work pretty hard to convince our leftist friends that it is worth showing up and voting for democrats as a harm reduction strategy, and it gets harder to make those arguments when prominent democrat leaders refuse to endorse the party’s nominee for mayor of the nation’s biggest city.
