Wild that so many knitters - people who are deeply invested in a hobby that allows you to exactly make whatever garments you want in order to best express your personality and identity - are losing their shit over a guy in a skirt and a poncho!!!

I have seen truly smart, seemingly stable people go off the deep end about chatbots and it terrifies me. Even if I didn’t have moral concerns about AI I’d never use it just because I don’t know if that would be me and I don’t want to find out!!

YES. In Montana where I grew up, gambling was everywhere - electronic poker machines at the gas station, every restaurant, pretty much every building that wasn’t a school, bank, or church. And my parents declared bankruptcy twice because of it. They’d never really gambled before we moved to MT.
