Hatter, scroller, might post a bit.
Think you're meant to see it as them linked together by all the backroom staff. 'Tis poetry 😀

MB needs to learn to lie better 🤔🤐

...the Club were embarrassed as they're usually good at keeping things under wraps, the deal's moved so fast it all looks really cackhanded, and everyone's blaming Gary Sweet as usual.

I have no idea what's actually happened, but at a guess something like: Alfie got wind Millwall were in for him, blindsided MB by asking not to play so as not to risk injury, Millwall wanted it hush-hush so they didn't get gazumped, Mike Simmonds put 2+2 together & wrote a story...

It's not just us though. Undisclosed fees are pretty much the norm in the EFL.

Exeter have a great record of bringing through young talent to the first team. Remember watching Ethan Ampadu running the show for them aged 15.

Unless there's a sock sponsor, we might be good to go.

Kone, L1 Player and Young Player of the Season, so clearly has something about him. Only 21 so not that surprising if he ran out of steam at the end of his first season in professional football. L1 is a slog. I wouldn't be unhappy if we opted to see what we could make of him.

Typical Pelly, trying to make everyone feel better 🧡

It's the Prem that did it, & the way you're obliged to be there. That fence they had to put up on the bridge so people couldn't peer into reception is highly symbolic to me. Not so easy to just switch back, & think the club have struggled as much as us fans. Hopefully we've all learned a bit now.

Not likely to be either. If it's reached this stage, both sides will believe they have a good case.

The first few seasons I watched us (back in the '70s) we were in orange so I guess it's always felt the most Luton to me 🙂

4 recent promotions in orange. Just #ditchthestripe

1959 for me as well, though born at home and not in the L&D. We lived off the New Bedford Road so Galley Hill and Warden Hill was our regular family walk. Barton Hills on the bus when we were feeling adventurous. Not there in '74 but I will be tomorrow.

1) We're not spending £40m on increased capacity. 2)We could have spent £140m on players and still got relegated, as any Ipswich fan will testify. 3) It was always made clear the PL season would help fund the stadium. 4) If you're aiming to stir up engagement on here, you're doing it brilliantly 😀

I'd read it again if I were you, 'cos that's 100% not what it says.

You can't switch a stadium on and off depending on the league you're in. The stadium is the key to future sustainability at Champ level & maybe above & long-term the Club's in a good place irrespective of what happens in the next couple of seasons. That you can't see it doesn't mean it's not true.

Ah, this is the stuff for a hardback! Was in education where hardbacks were rare but always loved the chance for a bit of jacketing!

Yep, especially for a lunchtime kick-off!

4 home games on the trot, of which Leeds is the third. A couple earlier in the season, including the derby. One we avoided when Derby was moved to Friday night. It had better be good when it’s finished!

Well, I saw us score two beauties right in front of me on Tuesday night, so yes, I do 😊
