Gonzo, meet Layla. I think you two would get along famously. She looks innocent, but she believes the first bite of the day should be ignored, because she is certain Mom did something to deserve it. She also thinks there only should be a 1% behavior penalty per bite/scratch for the same reason.

This was my Layla after her annual exam. She also is 16. She was affronted by being taken to the vet, but too tired to do anything about it.

Layla woke me up four times last night to complain about the horrors she had to endure at the vet yesterday. Then she punished me more by napping instead of “helping” me do my yoga this morning.

This is Layla. She had to go to the vet today. She isn’t happy about it. They wrapped her up like a burrito and did unspeakable things. There will, no doubt, be retribution.
