AI is a blank canvas, depending on what you use to paint on it it can become a revolutionary piece of art or a hideous visage of human greed. Hopefully, we can change the course in which AI is heading before it is too late.

That is why I believe that the blatant theft of the artistic experience is so important to push back on. The fact that corporations can say "Hey the works that you created are ours now, we will not compensate you for them whatsoever" with no repercussions is disgusting.

If the arts lose that humanistic connection to a push to create soulless works ripped from the arms of the artists and the admirers there will be nothing left.

We can agree about how corporations should've provided alternate career paths to the individuals having their jobs taken over by automation, but definitively automation contributed to the improvement of the human experience which all forms of technology, especially AI should strive towards.

I've also seen some individuals make the comparison to the automation industry taking away jobs. While I agree that there are some similarities automation wasn't just made for greedy corporations to improve the flow of capital, its main purpose was to take over grueling and harmful labor practices.

However, improving the humanistic experience should be the extent to which AI is used. When an individual's efforts and work are stolen under the guise of furthering technological advancement under the guise of falling behind other countries that is when the practice and use of AI should be hindered
