These charts are always bonkers. I feel "approval" is no longer a useful variable to track, and there needs to be a new way of measuring political climate since party affiliation seems to override everything else.

It's been a while since I went to the CDC website, but happened to check on the SVI today and found this whiny disclaimer. I know it's old news, but it's still pathetic.
